A structuring milestone that strengthens the Group’s technological offering

Since July 2025, ID Partner has officially joined AET Group, marking a significant milestone in the Group’s development strategy. This integration enriches the industrial decarbonisation ecosystem by strengthening a technological building block dedicated to induction heating. AET Group therefore consolidates its positioning in innovative and sustainable thermal technologies. Thanks to ID Partner’s expertise, induction heating has now become a strategic pillar within the Group, enabling it to address new sectors such as agri-food, chemicals and healthcare.

Induction: a low-carbon technology with immense industrial potential

Induction heating is playing an increasingly important role in industry thanks to its ability to deliver extremely rapid, precise, localised and controlled heat with low CO₂ emissions. By joining AET Group, ID Partner brings more than twenty years of technical expertise in this field, ranging from the design and manufacture of dedicated induction systems to serial production. To meet customer needs, ID Partner offers either finished products or integrable systems.

Induction enables the full electrification of thermal processes while improving energy efficiency and process repeatability. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of sectors, including chemical production, agri-food (food pasteurisation, heat sealing), medical applications, and maintenance activities in civil engineering, aerospace, nuclear industries, and more. This heating technology therefore becomes a key tool in supporting the industrial transition towards more energy-efficient, higher-performance and more reliable processes.

Three historic activities integrated into AET Group

ID Partner

For more than twenty years, ID Partner has been designing induction systems dedicated to industrial environments. Its expertise covers both the design of OEM equipment and the manufacture of equipment for maintenance, diagnostics or shrink fitting. The company is recognised for its ability to develop robust, reliable induction solutions perfectly adapted to on-site constraints.

This technical expertise — highly complementary to that of AET Technologies — is based on an in-depth understanding of thermal processes, materials and critical heating parameters. By joining the Group, ID Partner strengthens an already solid expertise while adding further capability to develop tailor-made technologies for advanced industrial applications.

IS Process

IS Process provides essential expertise for industrial players seeking to integrate induction at the heart of their processes. This activity specialises in the development of tailor-made induction systems designed to optimise thermal performance while meeting production constraints.

IS Process’s expertise stands out through its fine control of heating parameters, ensuring stable performance, increased precision and high repeatability of operations. This ability to adapt induction systems to existing production lines — often without major modifications — enables industrial players to improve energy performance and operational efficiency. IS Process therefore embodies induction in the service of industrial processes.

IS Forge

IS Forge complements this technological foundation with advanced expertise in induction forging solutions. This activity relies on equipment designed in collaboration with French craftsmen, notably the ISF7200 and ISF24000 forges, recognised for their fast, precise and energy-efficient heating.
Thanks to their robust and durable design, these systems meet the requirements of the most demanding applications, delivering high instantaneous power and excellent thermal responsiveness. The integration of IS Forge enables AET Group to cover an even broader range of thermal applications, providing efficient solutions for forming, shaping and intensive heating operations.

ID Partner selected for the European WINN-ORGANIC projec

AET Group’s technological ambition is also reflected through ID Partner’s participation in major European initiatives. The company has been selected as part of the WINN-ORGANIC project, which aims to reinvent organic food production by promoting more flexible and resilient local units.

Selected from among 14 candidates and bringing together a consortium of 19 European, Swiss and British organisations, the project relies on several Innovation Hubs to test practical solutions, including drying technologies, mobile fermentation, bio-based packaging and gentle pasteurisation.
Within this framework, ID Partner will develop an energy-efficient induction pasteuriser, with two prototypes — 300 L/h and 12 kW — to be delivered over the next two years. These demonstrators will be assessed under real operating conditions to measure energy savings, product quality and user adoption. Funded by the European Union, this project contributes to building more sustainable and resilient food systems.

New sectors targeted by AET Group through energy-efficient induction processes

Agri-food: pasteurising and processing with precision and energy efficiency

In the agri-food sector, induction provides a particularly well-suited response to pasteurisation, processing and thermal treatment requirements. It notably enables tube-by-tube temperature control, prevents fouling and simplifies cleaning operations thanks to removable components.

Faced with high logistics costs and a restrictive dependence on external service providers for pasteurisation, this industrial operation was seeking a solution to regain control over its process.

To restore autonomy and responsiveness, we developed an induction-based flash pasteurisation system with heat recovery. Compact, energy-efficient and easy to install (230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase), our system processes up to 80 litres per hour, between 70 °C and 105 °C, enabling on-site pasteurisation of juices, creams, milk or various preparations. Thanks to this solution, the operation was able to secure its production, reduce transport requirements and enhance the value of higher-quality products. This concrete advancement illustrates the key role of induction in modernising the agri-food sector and strengthening its competitiveness.

Chemistry: mastering sensitive processes with ultra-responsive heating

In a context where the chemical industry is seeking to significantly reduce its carbon footprint, one player in the sector has chosen to electrify its catalytic processes through the integration of an induction heating system.

Based on magnetic catalysis, this solution uses magnetic fields to generate localized heating directly within the catalytic bed*, thereby providing precise and highly responsive thermal control. Tests carried out on fixed-bed reactors, for both endothermic and exothermic reactions, have demonstrated rapid start-ups, excellent operational dynamics, improved thermal stability, and a significant reduction in energy losses compared with conventional technologies.
This fine temperature control enhances reaction selectivity, strengthens operational safety, and facilitates process adaptation to disturbances.

*A catalytic bed is a solid support containing a catalyst, through which the reactants flow, enabling the acceleration of a chemical reaction.

Healthcare: transmitting energy wirelessly with reliability and medical compliance

In the medical sector, induction paves the way for significant advances. ID Partner has developed a system capable of transmitting energy wirelessly to a prosthesis located beneath several layers of muscle tissue. With a reactive power of 125,000 VA, the device fits into a volume equivalent to a cabin-sized suitcase and complies with UL standards. This innovation demonstrates the Group’s ability to deliver compact, safe solutions tailored to the regulatory requirements of the healthcare sector.

AET Group accelerates its development by leveraging future-oriented technologies

With the integration of ID Partner, a recognised specialist in induction systems, AET Group confirms its ambition to invest in the thermal technologies that will shape tomorrow’s industry. The Group is expanding its technological scope, strengthening its expertise in electric thermal processes, and supporting industrial players and research laboratories in adopting increasingly innovative, responsible and high-performance solutions.
